\n Jean Lurçat (1892-1966) painter, ceramist, and creator of French tapestry, nicknamed “Leclat du Monde”.
His comrades from the Colarossi Academy are Paul Cézanne and Pierre Auguste Renoir.
This artist has reached the full recognition of his art with exhibitions in Paris in the United States, London, Berlin.
His work is rich and diversified, he practices stained glass ceramics, jewelry and tapestry.
In 1964 he was elected member of the Academy of Fine Arts.
