Description

A pair of stunning Chinese wooden hand carved guardian figures sitting atop lions and resting upon marble plinths. Each figure is intricately carved, is a different from the other – both are decorated in red and bronze. Each piece measures 5: x 7″ x 17.75 without the marble bases. Bases and figures are not attached. Marbles bases weigh c. 5 lbs. apiece. Holes in figures where original attachments were are evident – please see photos. Overall in excellent condition – obviously been well taken care of.
