Vintage Design
Olivetti desk “Spazio” series, designed in 1960 for Olivetti Synthesis by the architects Barbiano di Belgiojoso, Peressutti and Rogers (the “BBPR group”), in 1962 obtained the Compasso d’Oro recognition for the quality of the design because although made with industrial, maintains a strong quality craftsmanship component that emerges by observing the elements of the system, which differ from each other in small details. In the same year the Spazio Series desk was even exhibited at the MOMA in New York.
