A truly amazing masterpiece of 1970s Italian furniture design. This sculptural revolving round coat hanger has been project in Italy by INTERNI Studio during 1970s for an private client in Ravenna. It is made of solid Mansonia walnut wood, it was conceived as a round totem-like structure, having a fixed and load-bearing central part with two overlapping sliding half-shells, sliding on a circular track. The internal compartment serves as a coat hanger with hammered iron hangers typical of the brutalist detail of that era. The left compartment has retractable pocket emptiers. Elegant external cladding in vertical slats with visible brass screws. The cabinet remain in very good vintage condition consistent with use and age. There are small tweaks made over the years. It has been cleaned and overhauled so it is sturdy and totally works. This collectible piece of Italian furniture is ready to furnish your home, studio or Office!
