The iconic 6250 swivel chair was launched in 1962 by British company G Plan. It has since be dubbed ‘The World’s Most Comfortable Chair’ or ‘The Blofeld Chair’. In 1982 the chair was discontinued, but in 2012 G Plan brought the model back, renamed as ‘The Sixty Two’. This model still has the distinctive winged design, soft foam cushioning and deeply buttoned back, but has been slightly updated with new materials and some small design changes.
