Large king size bed by Gae Aulenti mod. ‘Tennis’ for Gavina, Italy 1972. Unique and iconic bed from the ‘Tennis‘ series referring to the round shapes and the typical stitching pattern used for tennis balls. The bed has beautiful bulky curves which organically flow over into each other, the bed stands on a 5 cm plinth which almost makes it looks like its floating. Upholstered in a wonderful sand colored leather with a nice shade variation. The original bed bottom is made from perforated wood, the plinth has openings for a good ventilation. The bed comes without a mattress; can be made upon request. In excellent condition.
