GE-258 Daybed in oak and wool fabric. Designed by Hans J. Wegner for Getama, Denmark 1950’s.
This well-crafted and durable sofa transforms into a daybed when the backrest is lifted. It includes a concealed storage area behind the backrest for bedding, while the unique ‘roller sheet’ can be unrolled to safeguard the seat fabric when used as a bed.
Upholstered in grey/brown Hallingdal 65 (colour no. 270) fabric, the daybed stands in perfect original condition.
Some age related signs of use are present in the form of marks on the backside of the daybed and three small indents as shown in the pictures.
