Vintage Design
This regional wardrobe called “with a gendarme hat” in solid cherry trees opening on the front by two doors whose low and high crosspieces are cut. A slight doucine molding has partially sports their slopes.
Each of these openings, held by three brass sheets, consists of a panel in a single board, without joint, perfectly symmetrical to each other. These doors are protruding from the feet. The closure is done using a 3 -point lock in operating state with its original key. Long openwork brass entrances to stars dress the facade of this piece of furniture.
Between the two doors is a pilaster, with two elements made up of 3 small grooves in the upper part and 5 larger in the lower part.
The high crossing is garnished with 3 arrested grooves, just like the up coupé amounts. The latter end in the lower part with an original “snail” foot (added heel).
The cornice is very soberly worked and the sides are simply made up of two high panels.
The rear, the top and the bottom are in very healthy solid chestnut and without worms. The interior has an adjustable shelf on 3 levels.
Note that this large volume can be set up in our workshops according to your needs.
This wardrobe is fully removable, it was dismantled and then reassembled with change of the ankles by our cabinetmakers.
with its magnitude and important storage capacity, this Loire furniture in cherry tree will seduce with its elegant and timeless lines.
