Offered is a circa. mid 1950s, early 1960s Kalmar label Danish crafted stainless steel hostess set for hors d’oeuvres, canapés, tid-bits or toppings, condiments, or dips and sauces comprised of an elevated Teak wood rack with handles and three removable stainless steel bowls that sit suspended within the crossbars.

It adds a hint of flair to any buffet, cocktail party or table arrangement whether serving fondue sauces, Taco toppings, dip and crudités, or condiments.

Marked: “Kalmar 18/8 Stainless, Made in Denmark.”

The Teak wood rack measures approximately 15.25 inches long, 7.25 inches wide, and 1.25″ in height, and the stainless steel bowls measure 8.5″ x 3.375″ x 0.75″.

Vintage Pilgrim Silver Plate butter dish. This item was originally retailed by Jaccard’s Jewelers, Silversmiths and stationers in Saint Louis, Missouri. Jaccard’s opened in Saint Louis in early 1800 hundreds. It quickly became one of the best luxury retailers in the Midwest. It is no longer in existence. This vintage item was never used and is still in the original packaging and Jaccard’s stamped box it originally was sold in. Think what a unique vintage gift this item would make, or just enjoy setting on your dinner table for your best dinner parties.

The dishes have 3 sectioned parts in a pansy floral shape, a leaf handle for easy holding, and the iconic doric iridescent shade, also referred to as marigold lusterware. They were originally used to serve candy, nuts, and snacks but would also make great catchall’s or decor. They were made in the USA in 1965.
