Grooved mahogany corner desk attributed to Paolo Buffa, edited by La Permanente Mobili Cantù, Italy 1950.
The office part forms an L and has two doors and a drawer. The double top receives a sandblasted glass slab. The upper part consists of a double shelf ending in a drop-down box, decorated on both sides with original frescoes by Pietro Toppi. A third shelf completes the device, it can be fixed as in the photo or higher, a small beveled panel decorated with a painter’s palette by Toppi will hide the fixing holes on the wall panel.

Vintage Design

This writing cabinet is an original from the 1960s with the typical simple and clear formal language.
The cabinet consists of an element and is of high quality.

The surfaces are refined with walnut and makoré (African pear tree) veneer. Inside, light birch veneer is used as a contrast.
A key is part of the equipment.

There is a folding door in the upper area, which can be used as a writing plate at a height of 85 cm.
A diverse discharge system is hidden behind it. This includes two dividing discs, a glass shelf and a small cupboard element for closing.

Below are two drawers.

There are other storage space behind two swivel doors in the lower area, which is divided by a wooden shelf.
