Designed by the Milan-based studio of De Pas, D’Urbino, and Lomazzi and manufactured through a new technique, electronic welding. This icon of 1960s Pop furniture embodies the revolutionary spirit of its time. It is a youthful, playful expression of the free, casual life-style and culture of ephemerality associated with this period. This chair is truly unique. Executed in PVC plastic.

In 1969, two students from the DUX internship, Jan Dranger (1941–2016), and Johan Huldt (1942–2016), founded the studio Innovator – which came to be the first “lifestyle concept” in the Swedish furniture industry. Dranger and Huldt created a playful, youthful marketing concept for interior design, directed down to the smallest detail. Their furniture became a tremendous international success, and the Innovator concept inspired many other furniture companies worldwide.

Five very beautiful Matteo Grassi cantilever chairs in black are sold here. This is the MG 5 model in which the leather surface is closed, i.e. the seat and backrest are connected to each other. This not only looks particularly elegant, but also offers a high level of seating comfort. The saddle leather is of very high quality and has normal age-related signs of wear, giving it an authentic and beautiful patina. All in all a very good vintage condition. The chairs are embossed on the back.
