The red/brown color of the wood brings gives a warm and cozy feel to this piece of furniture. the commode is dating from the 70s and was designed by Alfred Hendrickx for Belform. Neoclassical chest of drawers with two drawers and brass profiles. The pilaster strips are fluted and also accentuated in brass. The chest of drawers stands on square pointed feet with brass sabots and is veneered in mahogany. The chest of drawers has been expertly restored and polished by hand.

Born in France in the 19th century, exquisitely hand-crafted in luxurious 18th century King Louis 15th taste, retaining the original dramatically veined rouge marble top with serpentine shaped front and molded edge, over conforming serpentine-front solid wood bombe case fitted with two dovetailed drawers, exotic kingwood veneer with intricate banding, adorned with finely chased, chiseled and sculpted Rocaille gilt bronze ormolu mounts, scalloped apron, rising on cabriole legs, terminating in gilt bronze sabots.

18th Century burled walnut Georgian chest. Three upper small drawers and three lower large drawers. Fluted corner columns, Brass hardware with bracket feet. Wonderful old warm patina.

Old, old chest of drawers. Joinery is dovetail, but metal pinnings on the top make me wonder if it’s very early 1900’s. She’s beautiful in her own right and maybe one of a kind.
