The highboard was made in the 1970s, Danish production.

The structure is covered with rosewood veneer. The legs and handles are made of solid wood. Inside, the space has been filled with three practical shelves and four capacious drawers. The shelves are height-adjustable. Highboard has a convenient solution of sliding doors, which reduces the need to leave a large free space in front of the furniture, while not restricting access to its interior. An additional feature of the furniture is the universal bar and cabinet. The interior of the bar is filled with a decorative mirror and two drawers.

Condition: Minor scratches and losses of veneer visible. Larger signs of use are always shown in the photos. Product ready to use.

A stunning design in Walnut by Helen Hobey for Baker Furniture, four doors at bottom four doors at top, glass adjustable shelves on top one drawer on top for silverware, behind two middle doors there are two drawers, two-piece Hutch.

The handles are large chinoiserie style hardware in nickel with very detailed engraving. Dovetailed drawers with an amazing amount of storage.

The base can also be used beautiful long credenza with floating legs.

A rare find! This unusually long console or credenza was a custom, handmade piece by Tomlinson Furniture, from North Carolina. It is beautifully designed and crafted and has a lovely soft luster and gracious proportions — a definite show-stopper, when compared to the production burlwood pieces that are regaining popularity today. The wood in this piece is a warm chestnut brow, accented by sturdy antique brass lions-head hardware and brass library-grating on bookcase doors.

A definite statement piece, it could be found as easily in a Parisian pied-a-terre as in a preppy-chic town house stateside. It’s also a flexible piece — from hall to library, used as a media console or even as extra seating. I hate to part with it!

This solid inlaid piece of furniture could be used as a buffet or a bar, perhaps both. The top of the bar folds back to reveal 2 spaces for holding containers, glasses, bottles, or plates. A large wide drawer opens to reveal its inner contents of silverware or barware. The 2 doors open back to reveal 3 wide and deep shelves for housing dinnerwear, cutlery, bottles, and other accouterments. The piece of furniture has the original hardware and the original finish has been recently refreshed. I bought this piece at an estate sale in Beverly Hills California.
