Elegant walnut slab bureau, original production circa mid-1800s.
Legs with curved shapes, top with central part upholstered in black leather, small drawers and small raised shelves, probably originally the small drawers were directly resting on the top.
This leather insert is in very poor condition and tends to detach from the top.
The drawer locks appear to be working but should be handled gently and sometimes with a little patience.
