Vintage Design
This ‘Royal System’ large wall unit with shelves was designed by Poul Cadovius in 1948. It was manufactured by Cado in Denmark from the 1950s to 70s. This system is from the 1960s/1970s. The system is modular and you can change the positions of the shelves according to your preferences.
This system consists of 15 shelves: 8 measuring 80×20 cm, 4 measuring 80×30 cm, 1 measuring 80×30 cm and two corner-shelves. It features 5 wall mounts/uprights in diffrent heights and brackets/metal hooks for the lot.
Its a large system and has been in use over decades.
