Offered is a vintage Late 20th Century carved Ikoro wood basket / bowl with rope handles, a typical ware created by the Turkana, a nomadic people of Northern Kenya based on the original vessels commonly used to transport their food and personal belongings.

It can be displayed on a shelf, used as a catch-all for mail, keys, etc., as a fruit basket, or as an unusual planter (if properly lined and waterproofed).

It measures 10″ x 5.75″ x 8″, and the woven rope handles have a 6″ drop (12″ in length).
